This collection draws inspiration from Sydney’s iconic landmarks—where the stunning architecture of the Opera House meets the calm waters of the harbor, and the sturdy lines of the Harbour Bridge create a striking contrast against the sky. In this blend of nature and structure, we’ve crafted designs that embody the essence of modern femininity and timeless elegance
Our colour palette is deeply influenced by the natural and architectural elements of the Quay. Soft pastel blues pay homage to the serene ocean hues of the harbour, while the ivory tones echo the luminous sails of the Sydney Opera House at sunset. Monochromatic blacks, drawn from the bold silhouette of the Harbour Bridge, bring a sophisticated contrast, reflecting the balance between the fluidity of water and the strength of steel. The harmony of these hues mirrors the unique balance found in the Quay itself, where city and sea converge seamlessly.
In the The Quay collection, you’ll find a blend of feminine curves and structured lines, much like the Opera House’s sweeping, graceful forms juxtaposed with the strong, angular lines of the Harbour Bridge. We’ve designed pieces with flowing, body-contouring shapes that evoke the organic curves of the Opera House, while incorporating sharp, tailored elements inspired by the bridge’s architectural precision. This fusion of soft and strong elements symbolises the beauty and power of the modern woman, embodying both elegance and resilience.
As a designer, Sydney's Quay has been a lifelong source of inspiration for me. I see it as a place where the pulse of the city meets the tranquility of nature, and where people from around the world bring new life and energy. This dynamic spirit is reflected in the collection, which is designed to transition effortlessly between seasons and occasions, offering pieces that are as versatile and timeless as the iconic landmarks they’re inspired by.
